Here is a compilation of my 2D animation assignments, all captured in Flipbook:

Right now I'm in a Principles of Screen Design class, and our first assignment was to make a camera less film through the use of scratching techniques, markers, and whatever else we could think of to do it on the film itself, so I did just that along with some hole punching and bleaching on the black leader. I synced it to the song "What is love" by the Haddaway band and came up with what you see here:
Cameraless Film Project:
"Untitled" Screen Space Assignment: "Island in the Sun" Song by Weezer
"Fountain of Youth" Cut Out Animation: Song by Twelve Girls Band
Here's some other art from various classes I've taken:

In 3D Design we did some projects that at the time weren't so cool...now I love them, here they are:
Realistic Paintbrush Process: I had to create a paintbrush off of the dimensions of a real paintbrush, by using things that could be found around the house. For the bristles I used A LOT of strands of yarn; I made a base out of cardboard and wrapped it with aluminum foil, the handle is made entirely out of tape.
Wirebug Process: For this project, we had to choose a bug and go off of its dimensions to make a bug made completely out of wire (soooooooo much wire) that was about 10x its size. I chose a beetle, and here are the before and afters. Before
After
(with ribbon applied for the shell)
Cardboard Boot Process: Had to choose a shoe (As you can see, I chose a boot) to go off of, and create a replica of it by use of only 3 things- cardboard, knife, and glue. Here is what I created, I have the boot I went off of at home, so I'll have to upload a pic of it later. I painted it for bonus points.
So, the SavanniJam is SCAD's 24 hour Animation competition. It started at 5pm on Friday April 3rd and ended at 5pm April 4th. The judges give you a theme, and you base your animation around it. The theme this year was Power. Although we each had max 1 hour of sleep (except our leader Andy, poor Andy) we had a ton of fun. And although we did not win any physical prizes, we each were winners at heart for it was our first and so far only attempts at stop motion. Here's what Andy Mai, Amanda Partelow, Amy Ju, and I came up with:
(*note- the bunny represents peace, - the pie represents the world, and yes, Chuck Norris was featured)
Capture Station (our work setup)
A still from the Roosevelt & Churchill vs. Hitler & Mussolini scene
So I consider myself a pretty good copier, and here are some of the portraits I've done from photo reference. :) I drew these for family and friends. My technique for these is Ebony pencil on canvas.
I'm just a girl trying to find my way into the art world. I love creating art and wish to make a life of it. If you would like to see more of my work, please visit: http://tiffanyart.tumblr.com/
