Principles of Screen Design
Right now I'm in a Principles of Screen Design class, and our first assignment was to make a camera less film through the use of scratching techniques, markers, and whatever else we could think of to do it on the film itself, so I did just that along with some hole punching and bleaching on the black leader. I synced it to the song "What is love" by the Haddaway band and came up with what you see here:

3D Design
In 3D Design we did some projects that at the time weren't so cool...now I love them, here they are:
Realistic Paintbrush
Process: I had to create a paintbrush off of the
dimensions of a real paintbrush, by using things
that could be found around the house. For
the bristles I used A LOT of strands of yarn;
I made a base out of cardboard and wrapped it
with aluminum foil, the handle is made
entirely out of tape.

Wirebug
Process: For this project, we had to choose a bug
and go off of its dimensions to make a bug made
completely out of wire (soooooooo much wire) that
was about 10x its size. I chose a beetle, and here
are the before and afters.

Cardboard Boot
Process: Had to choose a shoe (As you can see,
I chose a boot) to go off of, and create a replica
of it by use of only 3 things- cardboard, knife,
and glue. Here is what I created, I have the boot
I went off of at home, so I'll have to upload a pic
of it later. I painted it for bonus points.

'09 SavanniJam Competition: "Thumb Wars
So, the SavanniJam is SCAD's 24 hour Animation competition. It started at 5pm on Friday April 3rd and ended at 5pm April 4th. The judges give you a theme, and you base your animation around it. The theme this year was Power. Although we each had max 1 hour of sleep (except our leader Andy, poor Andy) we had a ton of fun. And although we did not win any physical prizes, we each were winners at heart for it was our first and so far only attempts at stop motion. Here's what Andy Mai, Amanda Partelow, Amy Ju, and I came up with:
(*note- the bunny represents peace,
- the pie represents the world,
and yes, Chuck Norris was featured)
Capture Station (our work setup)
A shot of the 300 scene
